This coming Sunday (10th March) is Mothering Sunday, also known as ‘Refreshment Sunday’. It is an opportunity to give thanks for all who love and care for us, and to reflect on God’s love and care for all God’s children.
We have our usual said service of Holy Communion at 8.30, then an all-age eucharist at 10 o’clock followed by refreshments in the hall, and then Storybook Church meets at 4pm. This is an informal service especially aimed at young children and their grown-ups: we tell a story, sing some songs, do some crafts and other activities, and eat cake!
