The APCM has now passed – thank you to everyone who came to the meeting.

This page and the documents for the 2023 meeting will remain available here for reference.

Documents from the 2022 APCM can be found on the archived 2022 APCM page.

What is the APCM?

The APCM is the Annual Parochial Church Meeting.

It is actually two meetings. The ‘Vestry Meeting’ happens first and is where we elect Churchwardens for the coming year.

The APCM itself then follows. This is the business meeting of the Church – like an AGM. We review the audited Church accounts and appoint PCC and Deanery Synod representatives.

We also look back at the events of the past year and look together at the vision for the coming year.

Taking part

We will meet in the hall after Parish Breakfast, following the 10am Service on 23rd April.

Only those whose names are on our Electoral Roll can attend and take part in the APCM.

What is the Electoral Roll?

The Church Electoral Roll is like the civic Electoral Register used for local and national elections, but it’s not the same.

It lists those who are eligible to vote on Church matters, attend the APCM and stand for election to the PCC.

Each parish has its own roll, so you will need to be registered on our Electoral Roll to attend our meeting.

If you would like to check whether you are on our Electoral Roll, please contact the PCC Secretary.

The Church Representation Rules define an ‘actual communicant’ as a person –

(a) who has received Communion according to the use of the Church of England or a Church in communion with it at least three times during the 12 months preceding the date of the person becoming a member of a body the eligibility for membership of which depends on a person being an actual communicant, and
